It seems that a man known for his gnome-like whiskers was awarded the prestigious "Beard of the Decade" by The Beard Liberation Front (BLF). It's quite the honor coming from an organization that has recognized Britain's best beards for the past 15 years. Fun fact: Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant won the Award in 2007.
The staff at Build-A-Beard closely examined the 2009 winner, Michael Eavis, and although his beard is certainly of interest.... beard of the decade might leave some scratching their scruff and cursing under their breath. B-A-B feels that we have more worthy contenders in our #proveit section than all of the contestants in Britain.
