Today, I was holding a discussion with El Beardo about couples where one partner (hopefully the man) sports a beard and what type of lady it takes to date a dude rocking some full facial fringe. What sparked our discussion was the recent quote we stumbled upon via our Tumblr -
Behind every clever girl is a guy with a beard and glasses.
In most cases this is true, but it works both ways at B-a-B (e.g. moi). Personally, I am not sure what attracts men and women - in any circumstance. Beards are very manly, scruff is sexy, mustaches are marvelous - but the true test is never the physical attributes that one can see - it's the genuine goodness that you hope your partner has at the core. I am a firm believer that is pretty innate - and one of the few things that can't grow with the test of time.
